After 25 years of connecting the dots toward my vision for seniors to experience the maximum quality of life, I moved to Baja California Norte (96 miles from the US/MX border) and BINGO! There on 6-Mile Beach, a place of white sands sparkling with golden flecks, seabirds and porpoises diving in the cool waters of the vast Pacific Ocean as her gentle waves lap at bare toes, everything came into stark focus.

Casa La Alberca sitting directly on the beach with mountains and sunsets in direct view was the perfect setting full of potential for coastal living at its best. The cool ocean and the Mediterranean latitude make this a mecca of beautiful weather with olive groves, organic fruits, and vegetables with wineries to be explored.

Ultimate protection is provided by professional security in our gated community.

Seaside Assisted Living Services is next door to a soon to be opened 24-Hour Emergency Clinic with daytime clinic office hours as well. There are English speaking physicians who will make facility calls for residents. A small pharmacy and durable medical equipment (DME) are part of their offerings as well as ambulance or MedeVac services to the US/MX border. They are affiliated with Aetna, Kaiser, and Sharps hospitals.

Seaside Assisted Living Services is committed to aging in place and as such, is a full-service facility with trained, bilingual caregivers with vast experience working with seniors in the US for a combined 100 years of experience.  Night shift offers comfort care upon request, to include medication management,  a listening ear and open heart, or a light snack.  

We have electronic documentation for medication administration with a portal for designated family members.  WiFi and internet keep elders in touch with friends and family.

Our Hospice House is on the drawing board with our goal to open in 2024.
